MNEA is a coalition partner with JwJ in an effort to help educate Missouri voters about the real purpose of Ward Connerly’s anti-diversity ballot initiative. Connerly is a rich businessman from California who is working in five states to get ballot initiatives passed that will end affirmative action. This so called "civil rights initiative" is financed with out of state money in an attempt to interfere with our elections. The initiative would amend the Missouri constitution to eliminate programs that help women and minorities gain access to higher education, jobs and state contracts.

Weekly trainings are being held to train Missouri leaders to influence friends, families and the public. Please attend the next training hosted by MNEA.
