Missouri NEA ESP Conference Please remind other Education Support Professional (ESP) members that Missouri NEA will hold its fifth annual state-wide ESP conference on March 28, 2009 at the Courtyard by Marriott in Columbia. The conference will include sessions of interest to all categories of ESP. Watch for more information on the MNEA web site and upcoming Leaders’ Updates. |
SSD Voluntary Transfer ProcessOnce again the SSD Voluntary Transfer Process will take place exclusively online. SSD teachers and paraprofessionals interested in taking part in the district’s online transfer process will be able to do so by accessing the SSD Web site anytime March 2 and 3 and until 4 p.m. on March 4. Staff interested in transferring should request a reference from their supervisor as soon as possible, preferably by Feb. 15. Transfer reference forms (PDF) were distributed to supervisors. Next year an electronic version will be in place but for this year we will continue to use the existing paper reference. Please note that there are changes to the transfer process this year: Staff who are ineligible to participate in the Voluntary Transfer Process include individuals in their first year of employment and teachers with temporary authorization certification.
